I think ...Love seeing how your home is progressing!
I think the quilt would look fine without borders, but adding them would really make the quilt a practical size and the fabric you have is beautiful. I think the quilt looks good without them too, so if it's big enough for the bed you made it for, I would just call it good, if not the borders would look great.

The house is coming along so nicely and it is beautiful. Like a red or cheddar??? Even without an inner though - I think the outer border will be great - especially mitered.Reginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06180104163495530405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011835609379026815.post-53033245909845918472011-12-26T06:20:16.703-05:002011-12-26T06:20:16.703-05:00Go with the big border! Each newly completed project is so exciting, yet it seems there is always so much left to do. I love your light fixtures, and bathroom sink and living room ceiling--all of it looks just beautiful!
On your Courthouse steps quilt (which is gorgeous, BTW), though I know many old quilts of this style would have no border, I'm a border gal when it comes to my own quilts. I love the way they frame the work. Blogger won't let me enlarge the photos, but from what I can see, the fabric you have chosen looks just great. If you have a big bed, I would go for the large quilt! : )Janet O.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05083607398709252597noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3011835609379026815.post-57677054382051256372011-12-25T21:00:10.743-05:002011-12-25T21:00:10.743-05:00I love that border fabric and I vote to put border...I love that border fabric and I vote to put borders on.
