Quilters are the BEST!

Quilters are the BEST and most unselfish people! Carla and I were talking one day and I fell in love with her pin cushion that she had made for the recent pin cushion swap! So she mentioned that we could do our own little swap, just the two of us. So we did and I will post a photo of the one that I made after she recieves it. But I love hers!!! It is the cutest little crochet cupcake! The photo is not the best in the world but the bottom is a soft pink, the icing is white with little tiny blue beads sewn on as sprinkles! She has done amazing work!

Much to my shock when I opened the package was a TON of reproduction fabric for my Civil War Love Letter quilt that I am doing in Pinks and Browns! You can see all of the wonderful fabrics in the photos below! I counted there are 29 pinks and 41 browns and none of them did I have!!!! 70 new fabrics for my quilt! I was so excited that I was almost in tears! I figured I would have to put that quilt up for a while because I just didn't have alot of extra money to buy more of the pinks and browns to finish the quilt. I ordered a few but the get alot of different shades of the pinks and browns it would have cost me a small fortune!! So I THANK YOU Carla for being so nice and reading my mind that I needed more of those fabrics!!!!

So again, I thank you so very much Carla you have really made my day!

What a great surprise and Iknow you'll make the most beautiful blocks out of the fabric. The more I see of those cute little pin cushions the more I want to make one.
