Sewing, Sewing, Sewing!

This may not look like alot of sewing but I have been busy today! First off, I cut a few more scraps for my scrap quilt. I have several blocks sewn together on it, I'm just not sure what size I will end up making it. This is 4 blocks sewn together.
As I was sorting through my fabrics, I found some charm sqaures and 1/2 yd cuts that Jen and Maureen had sent to me. They are so beautiful, the photos just don't do them justice. I really hated to cut them up into smaller pieces so I made two simple tablerunners. I just sewed the sqaures together but it's the fabrics that make them look pretty.

This first one I still need to purchase fabric for a border and binding before it will be finished.

This one is brighter and I added the border on it.
This is the fabric that will be used as the binding for it. I just love paisley, so these fabrics were perfect for me!I am not finished sewing for the night, I am just taking a little break and then I am back to working on my scrap quilt.

I just love the new scrappy quilt. You always do such a great job. I think you need to be keeping track of how much time you spend sewing for the month of July too.
