Back To My Love Letters!

Today being Friday, I did my weekly shopping! For some odd reason it went rather quickly today....maybe because I didn't have the kids with me wanting everything that they saw! Got the boys off to school by 7:30am, left for town and was back home around 10am! Pretty good, I think! That included, picking up Richard's paycheck, banking, grocery store, feed store, dollar store, hardware store, and getting gas!

This evening, I worked on some of my Love Letter blocks! I printed off several of them but I only got 4 finished! But at least I am 4 closer to being finished. This brings my total to 30! These were made from the fabrics that Carla sent to me! Thanks again Carla! I love them!

Hopefully, tomorrow I will get a few more done. In the morning, I will be helping Richard at the sawmill loading logs on the mill. It is a two person job! He doesn't like for me to help him do it but I just jump in and help anyway so that he doesn't hurt himself. It is hard for one person to push a log UP a ramp and the log 20 foot long! Anyway, I enjoy it and love spending time with him.

I think I will try to do another block or two before I go to bed so I will have a headstart!!!

You are amazing - to have gotten all that done so quick (although it does help tremendously not to be hearing I want this...I want that). Hope you have a good weekend - love the blocks and cannot wait to see them all together!

I was going through my pictures looking for DJ quilts I've seen over the past few shows to update my DJ blog and found a picture of a Civil War Diaries/Love Letters at a show and it made me think of you! Have you started your DJ yet?

Great looking blocks!
