It's Done!

It's done! Well, at least the top is done! Now it will go in my big pile of tops to quilt! The photos are a little dark but you can get the idea of how it looks. I still need to do a little bit of pressing on it. But I am pleased with it.

The best part of it is.....all the fabrics were from my stash! So I didn't have to purchase anything new for it! That feels great! With the borders on it, it measures 84x96! That is alot of PINK!

Now I guess I need to clean up my sewing area and start something else. I really want to start a new quilt but maybe I should finish some UFO's! I guess I will have to wait and see which mood hits me!

That's a beautiful quilt top. I know your sister will love it and making it even more special is the fact that you took the time to make it for her! You're a nice sister.

Good that you were also able to do it with fabric from the stash and be frugal. Way to go!

I'm not a pink person, either, but I think that your scrappy bargello is so pretty! Aren't Bonnie Hunter's patterns the greatest? I'm making her New Year's mystery now called Double Delighgt. Lots of pieces but I'm loving it.

Like everyone before me, I like the quilt-I like pink and love it. I however LOVE the iron bed! Quilts look like home on iron beds. Good job.

How do you get these quilt tops done so fast??? And still have time to blog so much, be a mom and wife, etc. Amazing!! Hope your sister loves her quilt. She will be pretty surprised that she saw it in progress and didn't know it was hers!
