Blocks Are Finished!

It's been a few days since I have posted but I have been sewing. I pinned a quilt top on the frame but have not started quilting it yet. Hopefully I can get to that this weekend.

I finally finished my 30 Hole In The Barn Door blocks. Lisa and I both started one of these quilts a couple of months ago and of course, I got behind and put it away for a while. Lisa, on the other hand, already has hers finished and quilted!!!
Not sure yet what I will use for the sashings. I don't have enough of the background fabric to use for sashings, so I will either have to just sew the blocks together without sashings or find something in my stash. Anyway, I still need to press the blocks but I will try to get to that this weekend also.

Good News!!! Mom came home today!!! I picked her up at the landing about 10am! I was so glad to see her! On the way home we stopped at some yard sales but did not buy anything. I'm just glad to have her home for a few weeks.

That is about all that is going on here on the Layne Farm. All of the animals are doing fine, Richard is kicked back in the recliner watching a movie, Hunter is playing darts, Andrew is fishing at a Pay Lake with some of his friends and will be home in the morning. And of course, you know what I am doing........now I am off to work on some binding!!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh those are so pretty. The lavender along with the purple made for a wonderful color combination in this pattern.

I know you are excited that your Mother is home..enjoy that time as much as possible.
