Local Quilt Show

This morning my aunt Deb and I went to a small quilt show. It is just a small local show about 40 minutes away from here. We try to go every year. This year it was just me and Deb because mom is gone to work. So Deb videoed it for mom so she can see them all when she gets back home. I did not enter any quilts in the show this year. A couple of years ago I entered my yo-yo quilt and won first place with it. There was a yo-yo quilt in the show this year, but I don't know who made it.

I took lots of photos! These first 5 quilts were made by Deb! She is very talented and loves to do applique! She did win the baby quilt division with the little butterfly quilt.

Everyone of her quilts are hand pieced except for the blue quilt with the star in the center. She pieced it by machine but handquilted all of them. A couple of years ago I made the same quilt that she did in blue, but mine was dark red.

Here are some of the other quilts in the show! Very nice work!!!

We had a wonderful time and it is so fun looking at all the quilts! Lots of inspiration!
They also had a few vendors there. I bought some Civil War fat quarters to go in my stash. I love the Civil War fabrics they are my favorite type of fabric.

Ok the quilts are beautiful, I love quilt shows they provide inspiration. Your friend's quilting talent is wonderful! But what I really want to know is ARE THERE PUPPIES????? ;)
I have a toy poodle, she is 7 lbs and jet black. I have always had large dogs in the past, labs and a Dalmatian, but I am in love with this breed.

Such beautiful quilts, the judges must have had a difficult time choosing winners.
Civil war fabrics are my favourites too.
Have a great weekend

It may be a small show but they are some very talented quilters. All the quilts are beautiful. You should have some of your quilts in the show I haven't seen one yet that I didn't like. Good work with your machine quilting. Looks like you are doing a very good job.
