Scrap Nine Patch Star

I just took another quilt off the frame! I really enjoyed quilting this one! :) This was a top that I did a few months ago. It is just a scrap nine patch star, but lots of scraps used in this one. It was hard to get a good photo of it today, because it is raining and a little dark.

Here is a photo of the top before I quited it, you can see it a little better in this photo.

This quilt measures 68x81 and I quilted it using a pantograph called "Cotton Candy" I love how the quilting turned out, I tried to take a photo of it, but again it was just too dark.

Maybe I can get a better photo in a few days. Now I need to do the binding on it and I can call it FINISHED! Now only 69 more to go!!!!
I'm really not sure which one I will quilt next but it may be a few days before I get another one on the frame!

I bet this quilting pattern is pretty on this quilt. Sounds like you are really whipping these quilts out with that new quilting machine. As much as I enjoy hand quilting some times I wish I could machine quilt them...oh well I can always dream.

Stay dry - it is wet here too and the temp is in the 50's...when it does off warm it will immediately go to hot - upper 90's and 100's. Then we will be wishing for cooler weather and rain...never completely happy, are we?

I love that quilt. So nice to get some of them done. I got one done this weekend too and it really motivated me to get some more done. I don't have as many to finish as you do though. Have a great day.

What a neat layout! I may borrow that. I am currently taking apart a quilt that my great grandmother made because it is in terrible shape, but I am hoping to salvage some parts of it to incorporate into a new quilt top. It is completely scrappy, and I could easily add a star. Great idea!
