Guess What I did today????? :)

Look what I did today!!! :) I know I should have been working on Bonnie's Mystery but I just needed something different for today. These are my Spring Garden blocks! I have this listed on my "pages" at the top under "Carefree Year Of Quilting 2011" When I started this morning I had one block and the rest of the fabrics were cut. Now at the end of the day I have 42 blocks sewn and the border fabric pulled!!!!! I'm not overly crazy about pastels and colors like that so I planned on making a quilt using alot of these fabric up. Hopefully I can get them all sewn together sometime this weekend. Not too bad for a days work! All of that and I even got to go to Hunter's school for his late Christmas program!

The Christmas program was very nice! Each class got to sing a Christmas song. Hunter's class sang "Joy To The World" I just loved it! I did take some photos but they didn't turn out very well, he was standing in the back and I only got about half of his head! Let me tell you how smooth Hunter is and he is only 8! So it went like this...

Me: "I wasn't sure if you could see me so I tried to wave"

Hunter: "Of course I saw you, you were the prettiest Mommy there"

I just shook my head and told him that I loved him! He is smoooooooth!!!

Anyway, Richard just got home and is outside doing the evening feeding and I have his supper ready! Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, corn on the cob and cornbread! Mmmmm....

Hunter was sitting her doing his homework, I looked over and this is what I saw....he was asleep...A few minutes later he looked like this! Isn't he soooo sweet? I'll let him nap for a bit then wake him so that he can finish his homework and get to go to bed.

Mom has physical therapy again in the morning, she is really dreading it, she is still having alot of pain from Tuesday therapy. He therapy lasts about 90 minutes so I am taking some binding to work on while I wait on her!

What great new blocks!

Ahhhh, Hunter is such a doll. Don't you wish you could freeze him so he doesn't grow up?

wonderful blocks you did a great job. caught up on you blog which sent me to three others..guess this is why I didn't get any sewing done tonight. that and my sewing room is unheated and I won't use electric heat unless I can sew for over a hour.

I'd say that great for a day's work. I've never gotten even half that many blocks sewn in one day.

Great job on the blocks. That will be one pretty quilt. Glad you are enjoying quilting again and it is always fun to be working on something you enjoy doing at the moment.
