Flannel Pants forHunter!

I have been out to Mom's for the past few hours. I am sooooooo glad that she is home. She looks so tired. Hopefully, she will get rested up in a few days. The kids really enjoyed seeing her too. While I was out there she gave me a gift that she and Chantal had bought for me. It is a new Vacuum!!!! I needed one so bad, mine had croaked! I was still using it but it wouldn't pick up anything. I would have to go back over the carpet and pick things up. Richard said all of the thread that I suck up is what killed it.

Today before I went to mom's I started making the boys some flannel pants. Here is Hunter modeling his. I was actually pretty proud of myself for making his. I didn't have a pattern and he was at school so I just guessed on the size. He loves them! I didn't get Andrew's finished. I still need to add the elastic and hem them. Andrews are red plaid. I have some blue plaid that I think I will use for Richard a pair, if I have enough flannel. Richard has a 36 inch inseam! He is 6'2", but his legs are sooooooo long. I have to special order his jeans because I can't find them in the stores. He wears Levi's size 33x36, they are hard to find around here.

Not sure what I will work on tomorrow. Hopefully, I will finish Andrew's pants and then get some quilting done. Hopefully, I can spend some time with Mom if she feels like it.

I love the picture of Hunter with his new flannel pants, they turned out great and I love his Chick Magnet T shirt he is definetly one in my book. Isn't it fun to make those? They are so comfortable to wear around the house. I'd wear those and my fleece ones if they'd let me to work. I'm so glad that your Mom is home.

You are quite the seamstress to make the pants with no pattern.

Enjoy the time with your Mother.
