Anyway, back to the quilt! This is my scrappy bargello that I made a while back. I really love this pattern and of course it comes from the Quiltville website. Most of my quilts are scrap quilts but that is because they are my favorite. Trying a new quilting design on this one, so I will let you know how it turns out. I always practice those on my own quilts. But I think I'm going to like this one.
This is a customer quilt that is waiting to be mailed out. Very pretty fabrics in this quilt. I quilted it with the "Chantilly Lace" design. I really like this quilt, the neutrals look great in it.
Here is a photo that I took of Hunter the other day. He needed a haircut in the worst way, so Richard cut it!!!!! Hunter loves it! That is about it for today! Need to clean house and hopefully get this quilt off the frame in a little while. Like I said I hope to get out tomorrow and pick up batting for customer quilts and I want the frame empty when I get back so I can load a customer quilt on. The batting that I used on my quilt is a low loft poly and my customer quilts need warm & natural that is why I didn't use it on my customer quilts...

I am anxious to see the quilt finished. I am sure it will be beautiful. So satisfying when they are quilted. I would like for you to teach me the bargello. I really like Hunters hair. Don't you just love it when a kid likes his Dad cutting his hair. I remember when grandkids liked Lionel's, now Tyler won't let him touch his but Ethan still will let him cut his.
Hi Kristie, sorry that you're still stuck inside...the snow has melted here in central Texas but there's lots of frost and slick spots on the roads.
Hunter is a cutie pie for sure!!! I would have a hard time looking into those brown eyes and getting on to him!!
Your bargello has always been one of my favorites!! But, of course, I love all of your quilts!! You are the Queen of scrap quilts!!
p.s. how is Donkey?

Love your quilt, the customer quilt looks great, and I love Hunter's hair. It looks like mine!
be blessed,
Michelle
Hunter is a cutie!
I bet you are ready to get out and about for a while - as much as you love your home...sometimes you just have to get out and see some other scenery (or at least I do).
I hope you can get out for a bit.. and girly if it never ever snows here again it will be to soon!!!
Looks like the machine is humming along for ya ;O)...
I haven't stepped foot in my sewing room in what seems like a long time! Trying to get back in there :O)
Your baby is so darling, Kristie! Your quilt is so pretty, it will be wonderful for snuggling when it is all done. Great job on the customer quilting too!
Hunter and you look so much alike! You have the same smile!
I love everything that Bonnie Hunter does. I was very fortunate to be able to take a workshop from her a couple of weeks ago in Athen, Alabama. She's a doll! Can't wait to see the whome quilt when you get it off the frame.
What a cute smile :)
