We had some high winds the other day and we lost power for about 1 1/2 days! :( I was so upset, that was all that I needed when I am trying to get several quilts done before Christmas! But you really can't do a lot about the power going out, just have to deal with it. Anyway we have been spending a lot of time on the computer and phone talking to my stepdaughter! It has been a lovely few days and having lots of fun with her.
Here is a photo of a few quilts that I have ready to go for Christmas for my niece and 2 nephews. I have come to terms with the fact that my sisters quilt will not get done before Christmas, but she will understand. I also need to finish the binding on Hunter's Star Wars quilt.
I have the Nascar top pieced! And now it is ready to go on the frame! I hope to get it on there this afternoon. Then do the binding and get it delivered by Tuesday.
I was cleaning the fireplace the other day, got all of the ashes out, took the grate out so that I could clean it super good, turned around and Donkey was making himself at home in the fireplace! :)

Kristi, you have been busy. Wow! You have put me to shame......LOL....I seem to run around in circles looking for things.
Take care.
Cats are so silly!!! Although, it could just be pets in general! Last weekend, Max jumped between my pillows on my bed to make sure I got up!
Hooray on getting the Nascar top peiced! I'm glad your power came back on! And double hooray at getting to talk to your stepdaughter!! I hope that is going very well for your family!!! :)
You have been busy - wow! Having the power off is no fun...cause that probably means no water too, am I right...been there on more times than I want to recall.
No power for 1 1/2 day, how is that possible?
Gee, you had no power, I had no email. I knows yours was much more serious than yours, but I bet I was more stressed! I seriously need a 12 step program!
I hope they have internet and email in Heaven!
Love,
Michelle
I do believe that Donkey was trying to help...
Kristie,
Looks like you have been very busy at the quilting machine. Such a large stack of quilted gifts. Remember to take time to enjoy the season for yourself. You can get so busy quilting it passes you by.
Love the stack of quilts. Isn't it great that Donkey inspects your work for you. He was just making sure you hadn't missed anything. LOL
Love and hugs Gina xxx
