Donating My Hair!!!!

Hunter's party went very well!! Lots of fun and several people people here! Here is a photo of Hunter and Zack! They have been sooooo wild today! It is now midnight and they are still going strong!

This is his cake, he loves the Incredible Hulk!

Well, I did it!!!! My hair was 33 inches long! It was very thick, hot, and gave me headaches! So I decided to cut it off! Here is a photo after I got out of the shower this morning! My hair is still wet but you get the idea of how long it was.
This is my hair now!!!! I got it cut off and I am donating my 18 inch ponytail to Locks Of Love
So here is my ponytail!!! And yes, I did cry! I always cry everytime that I get my hair cut, even if it is just a trim!! I know I'm silly but that is just the way that I am!
Anyway, I had all of those projects ready to sew tonight!!! Guess what! I haven't picked up the first thing to sew today!!!

I can see that the boys are full of energy :) I looked at the Locks of Love website and I think they are doing great things. Your hair is beautiful.

Ok Kristie, now let's see you from the front! I love the looks of your hair...from the back anyway. It looks so healthy! I am not opposed to hair of any style, but it has always been my belief that short hair always makes one look more youthful, and it puts more emphasis on their face and eyes. I know you are just beautiful, and what a great thing you did by donating your beautiful hair to locks of love!

You have to have the most beautifu, thick hair! Your new cut is fantastic AND you donated to a very worthy cause to boot.

Well done. I remember when I had my hair cut from waist length to short a good few years ago. My head felt so light and I actually grew a few inches. It was a great feeling.

the boys may be still full of energy tonight but wait until it's time to get them up in the morning.

Love and hugs Gina xxx

What a great thing to do for others. I love the new cut but we want to see it from the front too.
In the morning those two little ones are going to be tired and crabby but they will always remember the great time they had.

It looks great, full and health. Knowing it's going to a good cause should make it easier to part with all that hair. Love to see the front too!!

That is such a gift to someone! My kiddo, Cindy, just did that about 6 months ago. 12 inches. She's growing it out to do it again. I'm proud of her and you for doing it. Really long hair gives me headaches too and when it's thick it's even worse.

It really looks like the boys are all full of energy! And they look happy, too, what is most important!
You have such beautiful hair!!! Even if it was not easy, you donated to a good cause, perhaps taht makes you feel better. And I'm sure you are looking good with the new hair cut!
Hope you could sew something today!

A good idea to cut your hair... you will definitely feel 'lighter' and hopefully less headaches. What a fantastic cause to donate too as well - well done you!!
Little boys do get very excited don't they? So sweet!

Being a cancer survivor I appreciate what you did for those who lose their hair. I was fortunate and did not have to take chemo...just radiation both times.

Your hair looks so thick and healthy...which is great in spite of your health issues and taking the medicine.

Boys will be boys...noisy, full of energy, and hungry most of the time...but we love them anyway.

sounds like a great party----for the kids :)

What beautiful hair you have...just so silky! I think the new "do" look wonderful!

Your hair is so beautiful short! I have thin hair, so when it's too long it looks scraggly. So glad to hear you donated it. My mom relies on people donating hair, so she can have some, so I really appreciate that you did that.

Your hair is gorgeous--I've got thin hair that is not ever going to look quite as lovely as yours!! What a wonderful thing to do--you are a kind soul for sure!

How brave you are to cut your hair! Mine is almost that long, but not brave enough to get out the scissors!
