Hot! Hot! Hot!

Not alot of sewing going on here today! I've been sitting here THINKING about cleaning off my sewing table, but I'm feeling a little lazy... It is so hot here today, high 90's!!! We have AC but I keep going out to make sure the horses have plenty of water to drink. We have a couple up in the stalls that we have to water the others can get to the creek to drink.

I did do a little bit of hand quilting on my quilt, but then I got so sleepy that I could barely hold my eyes open so I had to take a nap. Early this morning, I drove in to town to take Richard's 88 yr old Grandmother so fresh lettuce and green onions from our garden.

Since I don't have any quilty photos to show you today, I will show you some photos of a few of my flowers that I took at the edge of dark last night...

That's about all that I have for today, hopefully, tomorrow's post will be more interesting!!!

Your flowers are lovely...and I know what you mean about HOT! One more day and a cold front comes through so that will be a relief. Thank goodness for air conditioning!

Oh you know how I love flowers...this is so pretty...flowers growing around the wagon wheel. The first photo looks like summer phlox..is that what it is?

Awesome photo... looks like the flowers are lovin' the heat. We're still in the low 70's everyday here. But we have been missing the raining that Wisconsin and Lower MI have been receiving. Stay cool--- have you ever made a summer quilt? My Grandma made them in Louisiana... Using flannel instead of cotton batting...
