A much needed day at the lake...

So what do you do when your brother calls and asks if you want to go to the lake after Church on Sunday?  Well...when you are stressed out after finding out that your water issues are NOT fixed and you need to replace the well pump and it's not under warranty anymore...you just take off to the lake.

We dropped the top on the Jeep and spent the day at the lake after Church with my brother and sister and their little families.  :)  It was nice to just relax for a bit.
My brother had his boat and kayaks...
 My brother John...
 Hunter and my nephew Gabe...
We only live less than 5 minutes from the lake and 10 minutes from the #11 ranked golf course in the US.  LOL!  We don't even play golf.  :)
That is Richard out on one of the kayaks and the kids are playing in the water.
My sister letting Addison play in the water.  She loved it.
Addison licking her daddy's head.  LOL!  She had a blast!
We grilled hotdogs and relaxed.  We had lots of fun!  I also got to spend some time talking to my SIL about quilts.  :)  Family means so much to me and I feel very Blessed to have them.  We've always been very close.

Now...Richard is working today and we are back to the everyday stress.  LOL!  We will be getting the well pump changed out hopefully on his next day off work.

What a beautiful lake! I think if I lived only 5 minutes from there, I would want to be there all the time....and I can't even swim!

Have a great week!

sorry the water issues continue - at least with getting a new pump hopefully that will solve the problem for sometime to come. Your lake and fun day with the family looks like a fabulous time.

Ugh on the water issues continuing. :-( Looks like a day at the lake with family was just what you needed to take your mind off those troubles.

Sounds like just what you needed. Glad you have family close by and can enjoy such times together.
So sorry to hear about your well. Being on a well ourselves, I know well issues are no laughing matter--and not inexpensive, either.
