Today was another great mail day! I recieved they wonder cards from Tracey, all the way from Australia!! They are made from photos that she took! They are amazingly beautiful!!! And of course, they are perfect for me....farm animals and quilts, how perfect is that??? I love them! Thanks so much Tracey!!!
This has been another beautiful sunny day! Richard was home all day today! He got up and went in to work at midnight and his truck was not there. His truck broke down Friday evening and they had it in the shop but didn't bother to call him to let him know that they didn't have it fixed yet! He was very mad, that he had made the trip all the way to work and didn't have a truck to drive! So he came back home and worked on the house today! We now have all of the sub floor done on the second story!!!! I will post a photo of that in a few days!
I had a doctor's appointment early this morning. Nothing major just some blood work for my thyroid doctor that I have to see later in the week! After that I came home and I have not really done anything! Just seems like I have done a little here and a little there but haven't accomplished anything!!! I hate that!
No sewing yet today! But my plan is tonight to finish my 4 patch squares for the Orange Crush Mystery! I really need to get those done before she posts the next step! And I have a couple of other little projects that needs to be done soon. One of them is the "Miniature Booty Swap" which is a swap that I am doing and the miniature has to be under 20inches. I found out who my partner is and I have been reading over her blog for the past few days trying to get some ideas. Now I know the colors that I want to use, so now I need to purchase some fabric and find a pattern! Hunter has a doctor's appointment on Wednesday so hopefully I can run by the quilt shop and find something then.
And last I leave you with some silly photos of Donkey! Here is his sleeping on the back of the couch, he slid off and never bothered to climb back up!
He has such a hard life...
He sleeps all day and plunders all night!

You and that darn cat! I laugh everytime you post a pic of him. You know you love him. Admit it! You're a cat lover now! Hehehehe
Hi! You posted on my blog but I my computer wont let me email, said its outside my "protected zone" however i can send email through my regular email. (don't understand this) Just wanted to say I think a mahogony or cherry red would be nice in your partners quilt, since it seems to be in alot of her rooms. I need to finish my 4 patches too, I have about 60 done.
I ove looking at the photos of Donkey. He is the most laid back cat I've ever seen
love and hugs xxx
Aren't you glad you were such a strong person to overcome your fear of cats...now Donkey is such a part of your lives.

Tracy does amazing cards, I was lucky enough to receive some as a gift. Now that Donkey of yours is such a comic, makes me giggle every time I see a pic of him.
Hope you got lots of sewing done. I'm sure you are happy to have the sub floor in.
