I finally hit 100 blocks!

Okay, I know they are not the prettiest blocks but they are done!!! And I can gladly say that these two blocks make a total of 100!!!! Only 21 more to go!! I actually sewed a few more rows together on it, I like one more block in the 4th row having the first four rows together. I plan on working on that block tonight, it has 80+ pieces in it, and I just sorta dread doing it.

Hunter is not feeling well, just a little stomach virus! The school called yesterday around 1pm, she said that he had not asked to come home but he just looked terrible. So I picked him up and kept him home today too. Fever, stomach pain, diarrhea, and all of that. He seems to be feeling better this evening so I will probably send him back to school in the morning. (Lisa, if you read this...does the pillowcase look familiar??) :)

The temperature here has dropped and it is very cool. I got up this morning and it was 38 degrees! The past couple of days is has been alot cooler. I know we still don't have the large beam rafters up over the living room yet, but we have to try to get someone to help us get them up, but Richard and Andrew put up a few pieces of plywood and felt paper on the backside. Bad weather will be here before we know it so we are trying to get it covered. Hopefully, this weekend we will be able to get a few people to come and help us get the beam rafters up.

We still have to box in the sidewalls upstairs too, but that shouldn't take too long. And the window cut out in the back of the house is my kitchen window that will be over my sink. That is the only one that we have cut out so far.

Well, I'm off to finish supper. We are having BBQ Ribs, Corn On The Cob, Peas, Mashed Potatoes, and Cornbread! Later I hope to finish at least one more block!!

Poor Hunter. there's a bug like that going around here. Gem hasn't had it yet but it's only a matter of time I think.

Love and hugs Gina xxx

Sounds like you had a very productive time...hopefully you can wrangle some people in the next few days to help get the house to where it is somewhat winter ready.

Have a great weekend...and tell Hunter a Granny in Oklahoma wants him to feel better.
