Today when we took Breanna back we stopped at Walmart and I bought some fabric to make Donkey a little quilt. He loves quilts and I thought this would be perfect to lay on the back of my couch. He wants to lay on one end of my couch back and sleep. I don't have it quilted yet, but that won't take very long. I just have to dig out some scrap batting.
My mom and sister got a new baby today!!! They went and bought a teacup poodle! $600, I thought I would crap! Anyway, I used to have one just like it and mom was so attached to her and cried so much when she died. Mom has always wanted one of her own so they went and bought one from the same people that I had purchased mine from several years earlier.
She is so cute! Right now she only weighs about 1 1/2 lbs and was born in November. So she should only weigh around 3 to 3 1/2 lbs. They still haven't named her yet, but she is just so darn cute! Richard told me not to get any ideas on getting another one.
I cut out my pieces for my Baltimore Blues March block, but I haven't got it together yet. So many pieces to it and I just got too tired to mess with it. So maybe tomorrow I will get it together.
I'm sorry that I am so far behind on commenting on everyone's blogs. I guess I was getting lazy and now I am so far behind I will never get caught back up. So I will start in the morning with everyone's new posts. Sooooo sorry!

I'm glad you are settling in well with Donkey. Geesh, Kristie! First you were so nervous about getting him, and NOW you are making him quilts! You are so sweet!
Your mom looks so happy with her new baby, and so does your sister. Have fun while she is home, and cherish every moment.
That pup is just so cute. I don't think I would have spent that much on a dog though.
I'm ashamed to say that I still haven't made a quilt for stanley. I will get round to it
love and hugs xxx
The colors of Donkey's quilt will look great on your sofa.
Glad to see a picture of your Mother. She will enjoy her little fur baby so much.
Oh the new baby is so cute and I can't wait to hear what they name her. Everyone looks happy with the new addition. I knew that sooner or later Donkey would get his very own quilt.
I know the feeling on being behind on reading blogs....but I have my top 10 that I must read and comment :D
How adorable puppy!! I would be afraid of stepping on it all the time lol
Did you get your new horse? I would love to see pictures of her!
I'd say you have a good excuse to be behind for a while since you had that housefull of teen boys last weekend....
The pup is so cute. I had one of those 20 years or so ago. Mine liked to dig in his water bowl so I named mine Digger the Dog. LOL
I have a hard time swallowing the costs of today's dogs. Ours is a cross between a cocker spaniel and a poodle... a cockapoo and we still spent $350 on her. Years ago she would have been considered a mutt. Today they are designer dogs.
What a cute little puppy, but I would have choked at the price. I've never paid for a dog in my life. We always had people who wanted to give them away, so we always had a dog. The quilt for Donkey is so cute!
LOL, you go from you're not going to like him to making him a quilt. How funny is that???
That new baby is sooo cute!
