Yesterday I got a few more Love Letter blocks done!!!! I am now up to 66!!! I am really liking this quilt!!!! I would love to have this one done by the end of the year...at least the blocks. I still need 55 more blocks! By the time that I get these all finished I will probably hate pink and brown!
Richard worked on the house a little more and finished the rafters over my sewing room. My sewing room is the front half of the upstairs with the rafters. Now we need to put up the beams over the living room and then the rafters over it. The living room will be open the 2 stories but will have oak beams running across where the ceiling should be.
Here is a photo of Donkey that I took yesterday. He was sleeping in a basket of quilt scraps that was too small for him to fit in. Don't have a clue how he managed to get comfortable enough to sleep.
I hope to get a few more blocks done today and work a little bit on Bonnie's Mystery quilt. Also I will be helping Richard work with the beams. Have to call someone to come help us. 20ft oak beams are just too heavy for us to handle alone.

Lol your cat! That is so cute. And it is so great to watch the progress on your house. Nice new blocks! You have been busy!
What a cute picture of Donkey. Your blocks look beautiful, and your house is really growing in leaps and bounds! You just HAVE to be getting so excited! Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.

Your blocks look great, that last one is realy neat looking. can't wait to see your finished house. That cat is a hoot, that really cannot be comfortable!
The blocks are gorgeous. You're not going to let anyone TOUCH the quilt when it's finished...LOL.
Donkey is somethin else!
You must be getting really excited about the house. I see it'll be time for windows soon!
Donkey is such a cute kitty. They do the darndest things though! I love him sleeping in that basket. The house is looking great and of course I love the blocks. You get so much quilting done that I am jealous of the time you have to quilt!
Your blocks look great! A pink and browm quilt is on my "Want To Make" list.
55 blocks to go sounds like a lot but the way you crank them out, you'll have them finished in no time! I actually was pretty burned out on pink and brown when I finished my quilt but I had been working on it as a swap for a year and a half. I think getting it all over with quickly like you're doing is the way to go.
I love your blocks ,they are all so pretty ,some look very complicated but your certainly doing a good job on them .
Your blocks look great! I love the pink and brown. The house is really starting to come together. So great to see the windows ready to be put in.
Richard is as determined on the house as you are on the blocks. It is really coming along. Looks like Donkey is comfortable with all that is happening. That cat has no worrys. So cute! I just love the blocks that you make the stripes in them. Wow! small pieces! Beautiful!
Kristie! These blocks are gorgeous!!! You do such wonderful work. I can't wait to start on mine, thanks to your inspiration!!!
Nice progress on the house too! This can be grueling, to say the least. It took my dh and I, 4 years to build our house (my dh is also a plumber/electrician/furnace man. When you are done, your home will mean more to you than if you'd had it built. (besides it being less money out of pocket.)
I really enjoy your progress reports. Thanks!
Your house is looking great! You and Richard should be proud that you are able to accomplish this. Love the quilt blocks.
your house is looking AWESOME - can we come live with you? Hehe. And I really like the block with the flag in it - I'm a sucker for anything with flags....
