A Little Bit Closer!

These are my latest blocks! One of them have 81 pieces in it. I now need 31 more blocks to have them all done! I really wanted to buckle down and finish them up quickly but I just don't see that happening. I'll just do a few a day as I have been. Oh, and I got my 2nd row together but just haven't had a chance to get a photo of it yet.

I needed a little change from all of the pink and brown so I made a Dear Jane block. This is the block G-4 called "Shutter Bug", a fairly easy block with 29 pieces. I may do a few Dear Jane blocks in between my Love Letter blocks to give me a change.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get a few more blocks finished. It sure feels good to be this close! After this one is finished I will concentrate more on my Civil War Diary and Dear Jane quilts.

That is a lot of pieces in one block but it is beautiful! I'd say it took a while to do that one.

I'm impressed by your determination, clever girl! But watch out for aching hands, arms and neck, that became my problem after being too eager....
Have a nice weekend!

Liked when you put that first row together. That must really get you going to see it come together. Doesn't seem like you're far off now! Well done and keep going!!!
