Today has been COLD and RAINY! I have had a fire in the fireplace all day. So nice and cozy warm in here. Just something about a fire on a cold day that is so relaxing.
I haven't had a chance to work on my "Tic-Tac-Toe" blocks today. Richard was home today, because they didn't have any coal to haul. I just can't get anything done when he is home as far as sewing goes. Anyway, I did get my binding done on the quilt that I quilted yesterday.
I was counting my tops that still need to be quilted and how many that I have quilted and the total is still high, but much better than it was. I started 2009 with 75 quilt tops that needed quilted, I have quilted 26, and added 10 more tops that I have made this year. So in the end I still have 59 tops that need to be quilted. Still a long way to go but better than it was! :)
I found a wonderful blog called 365 days of free motion quilting! You really need to check out this blog if you like to do free motion quilting.

Counting down Kristie...
That frame was the best thing ever...you'll have the quilts done soon enough!..

Your fire looks cozy. Will you be able to quilt for much longer with the cold weather coming? Will you be bringing your Bailey in the house soon?
Love ya!
Michelle
You are making headway on that number count...what are you going to do with all of them after they are finished?
Love the fire!! I could make that my desktop picture! lol
And down to 59?!?!? That is fantastic! Are you to the point now where you can't imagine not having the frame and machine? Like you would be lost without it? :)
I love the upcoming months, especially the cozy fires! Wow...59 quilt tops...I think I would be overwhelmed...You'll get it done though! A new year is coming up!
26 is alot of quilts to get done in less than a year! Great job!!
It's funny, I just found that blog a few days ago and it is wonderful, she makes it look so easy! Let me know what designs you try!:-)))
We've had the woodburner going non-stop! It's only high of 43 here today. I love your quilts - I just emailed you about sending one:)

Thanks for the website. You have done good to quilt that many of your quilts. I love the fire. That would make me sleepy but would quilt after a nap. LOL Good to hear from you today.
It looks very cozy :)
We had a fire last weekend and we are in Texas :O)...been cooler than normal for this time of year :O)...
I see you haved a Bailey, after researching I have decided on the Bailey as well. I do not plan to put my on a frame. I enjoy sitting and doing free motion quilting (I just quilt for myself) and that site you posted 365 days of free motion is so cool isn't it.
I think I am making the right decision on getting the Bailey machine. Any thoughts?
