51 yards of Fabric Shopping!!! :)

First off, I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend! I finished another block on my Civil War quilt. This one is called "Sorrow" It has a total of 43 pieces in it. This makes 52 blocks!!!

We got up early this morning and headed to Grayson!!! I wanted to go fabric shopping first, but the boys were hungry so we had to stop for breakfast first. Hubby laughed and said I was eating too fast and was rushing the boys! I told him I was in a hurry, I could SMELL fabric!!!

So then on to Grayson Flea Market!!! Richard and the boys teased that I slid the car into the parking lot sideways!!! I probably did, to be honest, but I don't have any quilt shops close buy so I was excited!

So here is what I ended up with.... 51 YARDS FOR .... $88

Most of these fabrics are 3 yard cuts, some less some more! For some reason I ended up with alot of greens. I make alot of scrap quilts so this will be perfect for my stash and I will use some for border fabric. The camera does not show their true colors but at least you can get an idea of what I ended up with.

Hubby says that we will probably go back in a few weeks so I will be saving my pennies....or dollars. She also had some embroidery floss that I meant to pick through before I left but I forgot about it by the time I finished with the fabric.
I would love to sew right now, but we are expecting some company and then we will be heading off to a cookout at my BIL's house. I would rather stay home and play with my new fabrics.
