Tuesday's Sewing!

Here are my Love Letters blocks for today!!! Only 3 but that is 3 closer to 121!!! These now make 18 of them. They seem to be going faster than the Civil War Diary blocks, don't know if the blocks are easier or it is just easier where I am doing them all in Pinks and Browns and don't have to match fabrics!!!

Today I went to the doctor with my sister, Chantal. She had an appointment with the heart specialist. He changed her medication and she has to go back in 6 months! So that was all good news. While I was in Ashland I did a little school shopping, well I don't know if you would say "a little" I almost went bankrupt in American Eagle!!! Andrew loves that store! Hunter being only 6 is also picky about his clothing. I still need to do alot more!!!

While I was in Ashland I stopped by Hobby Lobby! Don't get to go there too much, it's just too far to drive. The only thing that I got was this Marine fabric! See Hunter lives and breathes Military!!!!!! He just loves playing "Army Man" Hubby was in the Marine Corps so that makes him even worse about it. So I thought this fabric would be perfect!! When I mentioned cutting it he threw a fit! So I think I will just leave it in one huge piece, add a border, and quilt it!!!!

Hope to get more sewing done tomorrow! Andrew has a dentist appointment in the morning and then I am meeting Chantal for lunch. After all of that I am going straight home to sew!!!!!!!!!

You have to be 1 very organized lady to get so much done. I love the marine fabric - and I agree - I wouldn't cut it!

Your blocks look great! Maybe the next time you go to Hobby Lobby you can get more and make Hunter a pillowcase, so he can sleep with the fabric too.

Your Love letters block locks so good and teh fabric from Marine motive you can put a detail in the middle of one block
Do you make your block in rows or just any one?
Take care
