6 More Blocks today!!!!!

Lots of sewing here today!!!! Have you noticed that I haven't been taking naps???? I think maybe my thyroid medication is on the right dosage!!!

I sewed several yo-yo's together this morning, took a photo and for the life of me, I can't get the photo to upload! Maybe tomorrow! These other photos of the blocks I scanned on my printer. This first block is for the Civil War Diary quilt. It is called "Union Soldiers" it has 39 pieces.

Then I got carried away on my Love Letters quilt. Actually, I hadn't planned on starting this quilt until Fall, but when I got my new fabrics yesterday, I just couldn't stand it. Yesterday I made one block and then today I made 5 more!!! So on the Love Letters quilt I have 6 blocks!!!

I think I am really going to love this quilt in the browns and pinks!!! I need to purchase a ton more fabrics but I will get them little by little!
Well, I'm off, Hunter wants to work on his quilt for a while.

Oh...haven't you been the busy little bee? Slow down. Glad to hear about the no nap meds thing. I still love a good nap myself, but can't since someone is trying to out sew me.....

I am still taking my naps in the afternoon...that is one thing I promised myself when I retired I would nap if possible every afternoon.

The browns and pinks are going together just perfect.

Take care...

Amelia

PS> Is Hunter making himself a quilt - or is it one you are making for him?

Hi Kristie! Thanks for commenting on my blog, I always love having new visitors!

Great quilting, I can't wait until I can get my sewing machine back out and get busy.

So...is the thyroid meds why I'm so tired? I thought it was the remodeling. The meds didn't even cross my mind. Guess I probably need to check that out. Thanks!

Glad your thyroid meds seem to be straightened out! Love the quilt blocks. I am determined not to start my Civil War quilt before I finish at least 2 more projects. Yours look great - I'm not a pink fan, but I am loving those pink and brown blocks. I am also going to definately check out that website for fabric!

The more I see your blocks for these quilts - the more I think I need to start this project. I love the top block - I think it must be the colors that i love so much.

Ok I have to ask. Are the pink/brown blocks from Dear Jane? I have the FQ bundle of the Charleston IV fabs and am still trying to figure out what to do with them.

Hugs!!
