My first Triangle!

It has been another long sewing day!!! I worked several hours on my handquilting today, but my hands starting cramping so I decided to move on to something else. First I sorted through a drawer of fabric and cut what I didn't like anymore into strips for scrap quilts. A while back I had cut up all of my scraps and sorted them. I have more strips to cut later, but I will get to them soon.

I have been doing alot of sewing and cutting for the past week and my table is a mess, but I had to take this photo of Donkey sleeping on top of my mess!!! He sleeps so weird!!!!

Then I moved on to work on my Dear Jane! I made me first triangle today. This one has 23 pieces in it. It took me a while to do it, I guess I'm just not used to sewing triangles with such tiny pieces in them. Hopefully, I can do a few more of them soon.

Giggle ROTFLI just realized that I forgot to sew the bottom strip on!!!! I am sooooo silly!

I think I will clean up my mess a little and then find something else to work on.

A few minutes later....
Here is the finished triangle! I added the bottom strip!
Now, I'm off to clean!!!

I so admire your skill in getting all those tiny pieces lined up and looking so nice!

According to my DD, "cleaning is highly over rated." Of course, she works full time and has a cleaning service! LOL It would be nice to just once be caught up though.

Are you feeling less tired?

The block is outstanding...so many little tiny pieces...I would have probably lost some and would have to cut more. I usually one helper or sometimes two when I am sewing...the furry kind of helper.

Enjoy...

Gorgeous - love your hand-quilting project, too. Look after your poor little hands. Haven't seen your new hairstyle from the front yet!

Donkey is so cute! Cats are funny like that. CC does the same thing. I love the triangle, it looks great! I am still working up the courage to do the paper piecing...

It’s not a mess, it is a cat bed. Love the picture of donkey.

The triangle looks great. That’s a lot of pieces for on triangle.
